About
When it comes to the new era of webcasts, virtual events, and hybrid events, Emilie Barta is at the forefront of the industry!
Emilie’s #1 goal is engaging the audience…no matter where they are located. She helps design the audience’s experience before the event, hosts the audience’s experience at the event, and continues the audience’s experience after the event through the power of video, online communities, and social media. Emilie’s 16 years of broadcast/video experience and 14 years of live event experience enable her to help meeting, conference, and trade show organizers plan successful, visually stimulating, and interactive hybrid events. Known for her audience engagement expertise, she is forging new territory in the blended conference world and in creating the role of virtual emcee to ensure that the virtual audience feels like they are in the room even though they are not physically in the room.
Emilie’s ability to think on her feet with a creative flair, her authentic and natural hosting style, her love of storytelling, and her ability to get even the most hesitant interview subject to open up has earned her the title of “virtual hostess with the mostess.” She is extremely proud of her many repeat clients, and they can attest that her effervescent personality and ability to communicate any information as if she handles it every day, makes it possible for her to meld into their team. Companies know that having Emilie as the virtual emcee of their hybrid event spells success!
In addition to her passion for hybrid events, Emilie is an on-camera host and spokesperson. She can be seen in hundreds of corporate videos, industrial films, TV commercials, and websites and is an award-winning host of several television programs. Emilie also enables associations, exhibitors, and meeting planners to create a clear, concise, and consistent message to attract, engage, and interact with their audience as a Trade Show Presentation Specialist.
Emilie has a BFA from Missouri State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in the Honor College, and a Certificate in TV and Radio Broadcasting from Broadcast Center.
